David’s passion for baseball began in childhood with reading books like John Rosenberg’s “The Story of Baseball” and playing on Little League teams in Springfield, New Jersey. He is a regular speaker at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Society for American Baseball Research conferences. As volunteer chair of SABR’s Northern New Jersey Chapter and Spring Training Research Committee, David is dedicated to expanding the scope of baseball scholarship to raise awareness of the sport’s incredibly rich history. David’s books include “Our Bums: The Brooklyn Dodgers in History, Memory and Popular Culture,” and the anthologies “The New York Mets in Popular Culture: Critical Essays” and “The New York Yankees in Popular Culture: Critical Essays.” Things to know 👉 http://bit.ly/BEGPodcasts
